The Red Hot Chilli Mamas - Meet the girls

Sheena (alias Florentina, Virginia) Sheena Smart organises our music and arrangements. She looks after the sound (but she won't carry it).Sheena is Scottish and used to be an air hostess. She is married to a gorgeous Qantas Pilot (oooops CAPTAIN) who spoils her rotten and she is a member of the Mile High Club.

She loves Champagne, looking beautiful, Chanel No. 5 perfume.........and loves singing LEAD......... and won't sing harmonies regardless of how much we bribe her.
We have our rehearsal studio at Sheena's house (with built in bar)
There are rules....... but she didn't make them, Maureen did........(No drinking the Champagne until AFTER rehearsal or AFTER a show).

She spends hours and hours on the computer looking up music and researching new material for us......... (or thats what she tells us). She loves the Chilli Mamas and we love her too.

Florentina

Pam (alias The Baronesa or Donna)
Pam or (The Barionessa) as the girls call her.
Well ........you could say she is the boss of the Chilli Mamas or she likes to think she is. Pam puts the shows together and writes the words to their special show packages. She is the ideas person and is always coming up with new ones.
Her famous line is...'Wait wait, I've got an idea" to which they reply.
'Oh no, what are we doing now?' or 'No way, we aren't doing that'
She designs the costumes and then gives them to Maureen, who then goes and tears her hair out trying to work out how she is going to do it.
Pam is the front person who tells the jokes and loves to let the audience know all about 'Florentina's latest plastic surgery' but won't talk about any of HER operations.
She absolutely adores aLL of the Chilli Mamas and could not imagine life without them. At first Pam did the choreography but then found the Chilli Mamas secret weapon 'BOB', who now helps out with choreo and costume design. Bob is an ex singer and dancer from the 60's and 70's who can still do a really gyrating disco routine. Many a time at least one of the Chilli Mamas has put her back out doing his routines......(who needs aerobics?

The Baronesa Maria-Inez

Heather (alias Margarita or Cindy Lou)
Heather Cadman is beautiful. She is beautiful inside and out and the quietest of the Chilli Mamas.........although she does put a good aerobic workout together at 6.am in the morning (whistle round the neck and all)....
Heather is our talented harmony expert. During one song she can switch from Bass to Baritone or Tenor and when one of us loses our part, she just quietly rolls her sexy shoulders cha chas over to the chillimama concerned, gives a look that says it all, flutters her huge eyelashes, sings the correct notes in the Chillimamas ear and then slinks back to her spot....
When Heather gets that dreamy look in her eyes you wonder where she has 'gone' and sometimes you would swear she walks 3 inches off the ground.
She is not only musically talented but a role model as a wife and mother and she loves her family dearly. Her husband Grant is a godsend to the Chilli Mamas and has been known to put up a Marquee in ten minutes at an outside gig, when the rain is threatening to soak all the sound equipment.

Margarita

Maureen (alias Maria or Darlene)
Maureen Starr is just like her name 'a STAR'...she lights up the stage .
she has a wonderful effervescent personality but she loves RULES!!!!!
Maureen was the one who made the Bar Rules. She is also the one who makes our beautiful costumes. We all help her sew them and have sewing days at her house. There is usually material, feathers, glitter and sequins in amongst endless cups of coffee and yummy dips and food Maureen cooks up (all low fat of course!!!)
She has a lovely swimming pool in her garden and the Chilli Mamas have been known to do a bit of skinny dipping on hot days. She is great at organising bonding weeks away at really exotic places.

Maureen is also a problem solver and loves to have 'meetings'. She is also very forgetful and loses her car keys regularly and even lost her car on one occasion (but we won't talk about that here!)

Some people would probably call her a 'fuss pot' and they wouldn't be far wrong, but we all think she is 'far out'!
